Surface treatment methods for precision metal stamping products.
After precision metal stamping parts are processed into finished products, they need to be treated by certain methods to improve product quality and give the precision metal stamping parts a beautiful and corrosion-resistant surface.
Common surface treatment methods for precision metal stamping products are generally the following:
1. Electroplating treatment
Immerse the parts to be electroplated in an aqueous solution containing the deposited metal compound, and pass an electric current through the plating solution to precipitate and deposit the electroplated metal on the parts. Its function is to ensure that the workpiece does not become moldy and rusty under long-term use and is corrosion-resistant.
2. Anodic oxidation
The metal or alloy workpiece is used as the anode, and an oxide film is formed on its surface by electrolysis. This film improves the surface state and performance of the workpiece, such as improving corrosion resistance, insulation, wear resistance and hardness, and can better protect the metal surface.
3. Polishing processing
The surface of the workpiece is modified using flexible polishing tools and abrasive particles or other polishing media. It can make the surface of precision metal stamping parts smooth and flat, without burrs, and reduce the surface roughness of stamping parts.
4. Surface quenching
It refers to the heat treatment process of rapidly heating the surface of the stamping parts to the quenching temperature within a certain depth range, and then rapidly cooling it to achieve the purpose of quenching within a certain degree, so as to improve the surface hardness and meet the performance of wear resistance and impact resistance.
