1. Unqualified raw material quality Raw materials are the first guarantee for processing qualified stamping parts. If the hardness, surface, etc. of the raw materials do not meet the quality requirements, then the corresponding stamping parts scrap rate will definitely be too high. Especially for some stamping parts with large deformation, if the raw materials are unqualified, cracking, breakage and other phenomena will occur. Therefore, when purchasing raw materials, you must not be greedy for cheapness, and you must find trustworthy regular materials.
2. Unqualified installation of stamping dies The installation of stamping dies does not meet the specifications, resulting in the upper and lower dies not being able to cooperate well during stamping processing, resulting in a high scrap rate. Stamping dies are the foundation of processing stamping parts. On the premise of ensuring that there are no problems with the dies, installation is very important. Don’t think that installing stamping dies is simple. Even a small error may cause the stamping parts produced to be scrapped. When installing stamping dies, the concentricity, clearance, flatness, etc. of the upper and lower dies play a vital role.
3. Wear of the die. Wear or loosening of accessories during long-term use of stamping dies can also lead to product scrapping. There are many stamping factories that do not perform daily inspection and maintenance on the molds after installing them for production. They only remove the molds and simply grind the blades when the burrs are relatively large. Little do they know that the wear of the mold is not only the wear of the blades, but also some mold accessories will wear out with use. After these accessories are worn, the accuracy of the entire mold will be affected.
4. The workers do not operate in a standardized manner. When operating the punch press, the workers did not follow the installation manual, or there was an error in feeding.
5. The positioning device is inaccurate. During the feeding process, the mold positioning device is inaccurate, which will cause problems in the coordination of each process and will also lead to scrap.
